Silverlight Moonlight 1.0 ships today

Novell has released version 1.0 of Moonlight for Linux. http://go-mono.com/moonlight/. Moonlight is an open source implementation of Microsoft Silverlight for Unix systems. Congrats on the release and look forward to the comments.

I assume that Moonlight 1.0 is incompatible with Silverlight 2.0? The NCAA basketball site suggests that I "upgrade" to Vista, seeing how it doesn't care if I have Moonlight 1.0 installed.

In case you are actually publishing comments that aren't adoring of Silverlight, you might want to check out my blog entry here on trying to watch the NCAA videos on my Ubuntu system.
